Your Wedding Ceremony

It is your ceremony, and your day.  I firmly believe that your ceremony is an investment in your relationship, a public pledge of sincere and serious commitment to one another and with your family and friends present. Most of all it is an investment in memories that will last for the rest of your lives. How we achieve that is by working together to create a ceremony that is totally and completely you.

• My focus is you, your ceremony, your story. The kind of magic that achieves this doesn't just happen. It takes hard work, which is what I do. I work very hard to gather information about what you would like for every aspect of the ceremony from you, together with the information that helps me make the ceremony totally unique.
• I custom-create every ceremony specifically for you,  the couple, so your ceremony will be created with your vision for your ceremony in mind. 
• Your ceremony will include exclusive contemporary elements that none of your guests will have seen at another wedding. Even if you choose one of my Warm and Wonderful weddings (an alternative to the Registry Office in terms of price and simplicity, but nothing like the bland and standard ceremony the Registry Office provides), the ceremony will be an original creation, not a boiler-plate standard ceremony.
• Your ceremony won't include tired old rituals or long-winded readings used as fillers, a blow-by-blow account of how you met and the daily details of your relationship, or presumptuous and boring lectures.
• For a same-sex couple, I take care to ensure that your ceremony won't ape a traditional heterosexual wedding with assigned gender roles to meet the 'requirements' of the "traditional' protocols of such a wedding. I treat you as individuals.
• Your ceremony will be performed with warmth and friendliness so that your guests are not only included, they are entertained.

All of the above, together with my track record of 1100+ ceremonies, allows me to confidently guarantee that your ceremony will not be a ho-hum experience. My aim is that no-one looks at their watch, and everyone goes away saying "that was so them...." so I take a very creative approach to fusing tradition with your personal style to create a contemporary personal ceremony.

And what will all of this cost?

I am aware that times are tough, and that every couple is different, so I offer a range of ceremony styles at fees that reflect the amount of time that each demands of me. I do, however, apply the same high level of skill and dedication to every ceremony.
